The DALLAS International Film Festival honors the best in filmmaking with a series of prestigious awards.

Target Filmmaker Award Awarded to one film each in the Narrative Feature and Documentary Feature Competition, as selected by the respective juries. Each winning film will receive a $25,000 unrestricted cash prize.

Environmental Visions Filmmaker Award Awarded to a film in the Environmental Visions Competition, as selected by the competitions jury. This competition highlights films and filmmakers that best communicate the importance of enviromental conservation through the art of film.

Grand Jury Prize - Texas | MPS Studios Texas Filmmaker Award Awarded to a film in the Texas Competition, as selected by the Texas Jury. This competition encourages and promotes Texas filmmaking by showing both short and feature films shot in Texas. The winning film will receive an $11,000 unrestricted cash prize and $9,000 in goods and services from MPS Studios.

Grand Jury Prize-Animation presented by REEL FX ENTERTAINMENT The Grand Jury Prize is awarded to a film in the Animation Competition, as selected by a panel of REEL FX judges.
Grand Jury Prize - Short Awarded to a film in the Shorts Competition, as selected by the Shorts Jury.
Grand Jury Prize - Student Awarded to a film in the Student Competition, as selected by the Student Jury.
Audience Awards – Narrative Feature, Documentary and Short Film are determined by ballot vote after screenings.
The winners of all the competitions in the 2010 DALLAS International Film Festival will receive MOVIE MAGIC software from Entertainment Partners.
